Pharmacy Support Services, an Iowa-based company, was established in 2004 and is owned and operated by an experienced pharmacist. Seeing the need for extended pharmacy coverage, the company was founded to provide affordable, adaptable and exceptional supplemental pharmacy services.
At Pharmacy Support Services our primary focus is on patient safety. Our pharmacists have the ability to review/enter orders via a secure connection to your facility, screen for drug interactions, provide pharmacokinetic dosing and answer drug information questions.
Our pharmacists enter and/or verify physician’s orders from a remote location, thus eliminating the need for on-site staffing. These services can be provided to any hospital. Our pharmacists learn your individual protocols and procedures. Our talented staff is comprised of experienced and knowledgeable pharmacists. We train and meet with your staff directly, allowing for continuity of care. We will spend time at your facility developing the tools necessary so the services provided during the day will be the same at night.
